Q. I purchased a Best Of… clip art disk but some of the files will not open when I double-click on them.
A. Most clip art in the Best Of… series are “paint” documents and when you double-click on them, they look for the application in which they were originally created. Unable to find it they give you that frustrating message, “Application busy or missing.”
The solution is to open your favorite paint program first, then select “Open” from the File menu. Then using the dialog box, locate the clip art document you wish to open.
If you just want to see and not edit it, you can also “Place” or import it into a page layout application.
